Ingredients
Porridge:
- 2 scoops AMINO ANIMO Rice Protein
- 1 cup of oats
- 2 cups (500 ml) plant-based milk
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. powdered ginger
- 1/4 tsp. cloves
- 1 pinch of allspice
- 1 pinch of salt
- 4 tbsp. (or more) agave syrup
- 1 tbsp. ground flaxseed
Caramelized apples:
- 15 gr. plant-based butter
- 1 green apple
- 2 tbsp. maple or agave syrup
For serving:
- 4 tbsp. coconut yogurt or other plant-based yogurt
- Cinnamon
- Nuts (optional)
Preparation
- Peel the apple. Cut it into thick slices.
- Put the butter in a non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Once melted, add the sliced apples and saute them until golden.
- Add the maple syrup and continue to stir until the apples caramelize.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, put all the ingredients for the porridge, except the flaxseed and agave syrup. Stir constantly until it begins to thicken.
- Remove from the heat and add the flaxseed and agave syrup. Mix well and divide into 3-4 bowls.
- Top with a spoonful of coconut yogurt and a few slices of caramelized apples with a drizzle of the syrup.
- Sprinkle with cinnamon and some cracked nuts.
