BREADSTICKS WITH OLIVES & AMINO ANIMO SUNFLOWER PROTEIN

Whether for a snack or on the side of a meal, these breadsticks are a must try! The olives give them an interesting twist, but you can leave them out. What you should not leave out is the sunflower protein powder, which increases the nutritional value of the recipe.

Ingredients

  • 100 gr. AMINO ANIMO Sunflower Protein
  • 200 gr. lukewarm water
  • 20 gr. fresh yeast
  • 180 gr. all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 90 gr. olive oil
  • 1 cup of chopped olives
  • Black sesame, poppy seed (for sprinkling)

Preparation

  1. Mix the yeast with the water until it dissolves.
  2. Put the flour, sunflower protein, salt, and olive oil in the mixer bowl.
  3. Add the yeast-water mixture and mix with the hook until a firm dough is formed.
  4. Let the dough rise for at least 1 hour.
  5. Add the chopped olives and knead with your hands.
  6. Let the dough rest for another 20 minutes.
  7. Form the breadsticks in the size you desire.
  8. Sprinkle them with black sesame seeds and poppy seeds.
  9. Bake at 180ᵒC for 25-35 minutes, depending on how thick the breadsticks are.
