GLUTEN-FREE BREAD WITH AMINO ANIMO FAVA PROTEIN

A quick and easy recipe for soft, homemade white bread with no gluten at all! It behaves similarly to regular wheat bread: it can be kneaded and shaped and goes through one round of rising. It’s vegan – no eggs or dairy products needed – and nutritionally rich thanks to the gluten-free certified AMINO ANIMO Fava Protein with neutral flavor! Ideal for your sandwich, toast or as a side to your breakfast and main meals.

Ingredients 

  • 500 gr. gluten-free flour bread mix
  • 100 gr. AMINO ANIMO Fava Protein
  • 8 gr. fresh yeast or 1/3 of the package
  • 1 sharp tbsp. salt (7 gr.)
  • 1 tbsp. molasses or other liquid sweetener or 1 tbsp. sugar
  • 500 ml water
  • 50 ml olive oil

Preparation

  1. In a bowl, mix the gluten-free flour with the Fava Protein.
  2. In a jug of water, add the olive oil, molasses and yeast.
  3. Combine the liquids with the solids and knead well.
  4. Add the salt and continue kneading.
  5. Cover the dough with a wet towel and let rise for at least 1 hour.
  6. Lightly grease the surface of a rectangular bread pan (dimensions 29×16 cm).
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 °C for 35-40 minutes.
  8. Let cool and cut into slices.
